20240326: Dr. Melissa J. Fullwood visit SUSTech
Dr. Melissa J. Fullwood is an Associate Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). Her laboratory focuses on elucidating the role of 3-dimensional genome organization in the regulation of transcription in cancer cells. Today, she visited SUSTech and delivered a talk entitled, “Investigating the 3D genome organization of silencers and enhancers in the human genome.”

Today, the first project seminar for the National Key R&D Program "High-Precision Panoramic Transcriptome In-Depth Analysis Technology" was held at the headquarters of BGI Shenzhen Research Institute, chaired by Xuxun. Dr. Zheng attended the meeting as the principal investigator of the first sub-project.

As night falls and the neon lights begin to glow, there is nothing more unforgettable than those evenings spent with students around a long table at the local street food stalls. Steaming plates of seafood, crisp and refreshing cold beer, and the sound of laughter as we shared stories about life—all of these filled our summer nights with warmth. In those moments, we paid no attention to the world’s noise; we cared only for the good food in our hands and the friends by our side.
